“I feel I was misled by the photos. We were in a different building than what I thought from the main photos. The building is in need of repairs. We experienced, wifi outage - including a message when we tried to connect that the account was suspended for non payment. We were without water for an afternoon, the ac in the bedroom was not working. I have photos I can share showing the poor condition, including one of windows with boards over them presumably because the glass was broken. Paying over……

“Clean, modern and comfortable but is basic accommodation with a number of failings: poor shower, rooms are lit up by corridor lighting at night so impedes sleep, there are no room facilities (cups, coffee, etc) and internal floors can be very slippy under foot after rainfall (but expect rains!). Staff are friendly and polite which helps on any stay.”

“Es ist soweit sauber, Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Gut gesichert. Reinigungspersonal sollte mehr Tools erhalten, Boden musste sie steinzeitlich auf Knien von Hand reinigen, das sollte mal geändert werden. Pool etwas salzig aber sehr sauber. Ein Tipp für das Management: mit ein kleinen Bär am Pool das bei Hochzeiten geöffnet ist könnte noch etwas Geld dazuverdienen werden 😉”

“An absolute pearl on the Kenyan coast. The location is quite and beautiful, with professional and super friendly staff and management. The food was amazing and served in wonderful atmosphere. We stayed for five nights and enjoyed every second, either on the beach or in the pool, watching baby turtles crawl to the sea with the Tiwi Turtle Police or visiting the nearby star fish sanctuary and the African pool. “The Penthouse is a blissful experience and if you need anything Gilbert will ensure your get it. We asked if he could get us snapper and vegetables for dinner and he organised for it to be delivered and grilled for us by an onsite chief. It was delicious 10/10 and we could continue our holiday without worrying about food. Swahili house is everything we were looking for, Diani beach experience but more peacful without the crowds.
