“A small, well presented independently run hotel with good access to local amenities and public transport. We managed a week of exploring using the trains, busses and boat trips. Plenty of restaurants on the doorstep, the hotel provided a continental breakfast. Rooms were spacious, though could do with a couple more plug sockets or USB ports and a better draining shower. “Staff went out of the way to help and the view from my room made mynjaw drop open. The pool, jacuzzi and sauna were great also with an amzing view and the restaurant was top notch. “Great location and a sweet small hotel. The hotel reception is in the cafe so there isn't much space or room for luggage. Our room was spotless and had an incredible lake view and the pool views were spectacular. The hairdryer needed replacing - outdated for 2025!”
