“Silverdale is a lovely hotel - cosy, charming, clean and welcoming. Shelly and the rest of the team were extremely accommodating and treated us amazingly. We would definitely go back. Big recommend!”

“Great small country pub with friendly staff and excellent food and drinks. Don’t miss the included full English breakfast, it’ll get you going for a busy day of sight seeing. ”
“Really good for the price. Clean and provided everything anyone would need. The people who ran the place were absolutely lovely.
I had a single room with a sea view and thought it was a bargain compared to some of the other places I've stayed with a similar view!!”
“I put in the postcode but car sat nav directed me as far as the local pub only! After turning down a wrong lane past the pub in the pitch dark (9pm on an October evening) ascending up at a dead end I rang the owner who instructed me to carry on past the pub for another 2 miles!
I eventually arrived at a building signposted as the ‘equestrian centre’ so I drove a bit further and ended up driving around some lane in a woods (surrounded by curious deer and badgers!). I rang the owner again and……
“Staff and manager were super helpful from helping me with my luggage, giving me directions, and letting me use the phone to report my car accident. Definitely would recommend. ”
“I wasn’t happy it’s not a real hotel but that was forgotten as soon as I walked in. Beautiful room with an amazing hot tub and fireplace. I could have spent the whole vaca here. I relaxed and slept well. Highly highly recommend and will stay here again for sure!”
“Lovely 2 night stay. Food was lovely and staff very helpful. Very busy on Second night and had to eat in the bar even though I had booked restaurant weeks ago, but otherwise couldn’t fault it. ”
“The Royal is a great hotel situated in the quaint village of Heysham.
We loved our stay. Lots of nice walks and history. The hotel has a very relaxed and chilled atmosphere.
The food is excellent and all staff are friendly and display excellent communication and customer service skills.
Everwhere is spotlessly clean. Free parking is an added bonus.
We will be returning soon and I will recommend the Royal to my friends and family.”
