“Owner/host gave us tour and recommendations for dinner that were close by. Historic building that has been lovingly restored and includes modern amenities and bathrooms. Has a lot of extra touches like cookies and coffee in entry, bathrobes, room darkening shades, great breakfast.”

“Before Salt Hotel and Pub opened or reopened(?) we only thought of Ilwaco as a fishing stop. Now for us it’s a destination! Great food and drinks at the pub, cozy comfy rooms, minutes from Long Beach and Astoria. Highly recommend!”

“Incredibly cozy and enchanting. The front desk clerk was friendly and inviting. When you enter the building, you are surrounded by warm rich woods, stained glass, and Edison bulbs that cast a low amber light. The Historic Queen room I stayed in was delightfully minimal, but with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The room opens up to a private balcony with a little bistro table. I recommend sleeping with the window open to feel the beach air and listen to the ocean.”

“Not so many folded towels paper items looked very confused and besides bath towels really did not want to use!?”
