“Really charming place to stay! Perfect for a weekend. Staff were brilliant and attentive and breakfast was great! Just to note we did get woken up a bit early by a drinks delivery for the pub underneath but wasn’t too bad ”
“Minuscule hotel car park. Ended up parking 10min walk away on 1st night. Parked on street next night (after 9pm). Chargeable from 08:30 in morning with max 4 hrs stay. So can’t leave car for day and walk around town.
Ok room. En-suite had tiny sink on very weathered wood surface. Shower ok but leaky screen, so floor was very wet after.
Good amenities with nice teas, coffee & water available

“I like its history and the Staff are excellent.
I disliked:
a) Wasting so much milk. I only needed a small spoonful.
b) Morning shower.......the water was tepid at the most despite the fact that I reported it and was assured it would be better next day.
c) Noisy, especially on Friday night. I could feel the bedroom floor vibrating.
d) I found the dinner menu very limited after the first evening.

“We really enjoyed our stay here. Host was excellent: knowledgeable and welcoming. Location was good, secluded enough but easy to get to all areas of the island. Food selection in kitchen was fab and available 24/7, never had that at a b&b before. Room comfortable and internet readily available too. ”

Not too clean, e. g. Some spider web inside room, on the door knob...
No curtain around the bath tub in the master bedroom...
Hotel.com didn't inform us clearly the check in procedure - e. g. We need to contact the staff by phone for a password to the key safe! ”
“One night stay for a party. Perfect for walking to sea front and town. Room was very spacious with a separate sitting room area. Very clean and lovely breakfast. Would definitely recommend and stay again.”
“Overall it's good. The service is excellent, and the room is cosy. But there was only one drawback which we met a private party. Therefore, the spa, Sunna cannot used as much as we can.”

“it is in the old town center and just next to the main attractive points like cathedral. as it is a building over 500 years old, so no lift but wooden stairs only (but this is the reason i stay here). Shared toilet and bathroom is good (and you can enjoy the cathedral view when you are "relaxing"). ”
