“Was here for a 2-night stay for work. Free parking on drive of property, take care coming out, as restricted view of road. Greeted by Sigrid who was pleasant and provided good local information. Mini fridge and table on landing with snacks (need to pay for them). Also in fridge was fresh milk for tea and coffee in your room. My room was lovely with ensuite and seperate toilet (in room). “This is one of the nicest hotels I've stayed at, and I've stayed at a lot of hotels! We had such a lovely room that had the stream running past the window. The beds were super comfy and the room had lots of plug sockets which seems rare in hotels! It was a Greene King but the food was better than any I've been too and reasonably priced. Service was quite slow considering how quiet it was but the staff were very friendly. The pictures online don't do this place justice, a real hidden gem! ”
