“Beautiful hotel. It is very charming. It has an old world charm. The service was absolutely exceptional! EXCEPTIONAL. We only stayed one night but we will be returning for sure. The restaurant had wonderful service, great food and made some nice substitutions for me (non meat eater). We can’t wait to return and enjoy the spa. ”

The only thing I will say is the check in, check out process was a little confusing because we didn’t realize we had to go into the restaurant. But when we figured it out, everything was great. “This home is the perfect little getaway. Very charming and quaint. The neighborhood is quiet and is located just minutes away from the St. Augustine’s downtown area and attractions. The bedrooms are a good size and kitchen and living room area are open concept and spacious. There’s a charming enclosed front porch for you to relax and enjoy a cup of coffee. There is also a backyard space to enjoy the lovely garden or just have dinner outdoors. The owner was attentive to my questions and helpful.……

“Quiet rooms, plenty of space, 15-20 minute walk to downtown. Small pool table/dining table, lots of books and games besides the arcade room which is obviously awesome. A little mildew smell, but that’s not uncommon for an old home. It’s updated nicely without losing its charm. I would stay here again anytime.”

Although the house is within walking distance, it was mid-July in Florida. We Ubered most days - very reasonable costs as parking downtown would have been more than the Uber rides. ”
