“Nice and clean”

“It was great! Would recommend this place.”

“Located in downtown wellsboro within walking distance to shoppes and restaurants, this hotel is a throwback in a good way. The staff was attentive and pleasant. The lobby and rooms were clean and functional with modern amenities, but had the feel of another era, giving me a taste of what life might have been like in another time. Breakfast was good also, my kids loved the chocolate raspberry muffins.”

“The description on Expedia didn't do it justice. There was a very nice midsize refrigerator and a microwave. The room was clean and comfortable. The only thing I was disappointed in was that they tried to charge me an extra 10% fee over the price I paid Expedia when I checked in. The clerk said she would ask about taking it off and they did not pursue it so far. The desk clerk was pleasant and courteous. They made up the room without me asking! Motel was just a few minutes from the airport but……

“Loved this place! That said, the "entry" is through the back of the building parking lot, up what appears to be an old fire escape, passing by the restaurant vent fan, on the way up to the second floor. All i kept thinking was, Im in deep trouble now (wife cursing and swearing under her breath). The unmarked door opens to a civilized hallway and closes securely behind you. The room, which is more like a suite, is wonderful! It has a separate bedroom and living room, with a fireplace. The view……

“The staff was polite and courteous, and the rooms were clean. I couldn’t have asked for anything better, would stay there again.”
