“Brilliantly clean room, nice and spacious. Lovely friendly staff. Modern bathrooms. Relaxed atmosphere and very peaceful. The town is really nice with lots of history. Stayed there to attend a wedding at the local Cornhill Castle which is literally just 10 minutes by cab. The Kirkstyle was so convenient. Breakfast was so generous in its portions and superbly cooked. ”

“Had a lovely overnight stay here. I arrived early as I was attending a wedding and was able to access my room no problem to get ready. Room has recently been re-furbished and is beautiful. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the breakfast is good too. I would have no hesitation in returning.”

“Just stayed one night on the way to Edinburgh and it was great! Our room (in the old school house behind the pub) was small but had everything we needed including a very comfortable bed. We had dinner in the pub and the food was fantastic (and great "desert cocktail" too!) Staff were all very helpful and friendly. Excellent stop off!”

"Amazing location, way beyond my expectations!!! However I don’t think I’ll live at the top bunk cuz every time I wanna go down it will take some courage… Another thing is that they will need to use passcode and sometimes I can get lost when I first came here. So clean, the restroom just so impressive, quite spacious and they clean it every single day. very affordable, definitely recommend."
