“Although some areas could take a lick of paint, this traditional country house hotel was just what we wanted pre our Le Shuttle journey. The staff are an absolute credit to hospitality, the food is delicious and the bed was comfy, great shower pressure and peace and quiet plus safe parking. ”

“Hotel is old but charming. The room was bigger than expected. Had a room for 3. Had a big bed in one space and a twin bed in the other room. We faced the harbor so opened windows to get a nice breeze. They provided a fan which helped bc our room was pretty warm as they do not have ac. Breakfast was nice and included with room rate. Service was great. Did have a time figuring out how to flush the toilet. Other than that we enjoyed our stay and the town. Very friendly folks, great shopping and……

“We booked to stay for 2 nights to attend a wedding. The chalet was clean and had everything we needed. We needed to arrive quite late and this was accomodated really well. The only downside was that the chalet was really warm, but we enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again if we revisit the area.”

“The Mermaid Inn is a special place. So much history around every corner. It's a really gorgeous setting, with period detail throughout. Staff were friendly and helpful, and rapidly corrected an error made during check-out. Breakfast was delicious and you can tell they use high quality ingredients in everything. I was slightly disappointed in the room: it was pretty stifling despite the weather being merely warm; the four poster bed was much smaller than a modern double and had a cobweb hanging……
