“Beautiful property, cleanliness and the warmth of this home is above the standard. My family "7" kids from 4-15 and my wife loved the stay! And when we come back to West Virginia this will be our go too. Communication is above par. We had rain Thursday evening and friday but the back porch was absolutely perfect for the rain we all sat out and just connected and unwound. Would recommend to anyone... And we already recommended to other family that live out of state. ”

“This little farmhouse provided all the charm and warmth needed for our weekend stay. We were in for a family wedding and loved this choice for something different! The linens, beds and pillows were very comfortable. The bathroom provided cozy towels, soap and shampoo necessities. The farmhouse was historically old and but inviting. “Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much. We were traveling with 17 people in our party. Five adults and 12 girls (5-17 years). The house was spacious and comfortable and included plenty of beds/room for everyone. If you are not used to driving on West Virginia mountains roads, I would definitely recommend arriving during daylight hours. The road up the mountain to the house is very narrow in places and it was a bit scary the first time at night. Lots of room in the kitchens for cooking and……

“Great place to disconnect from stresses of everyday life and enjoy a relaxing lifesyle. Creeks to splash in, river to float, mud puddles to splash in and dirt roads to adventure down. Everyone was so welcoming from liz, bars/restaurants, to the locals. The road up started the adventure and set the tone for getting away from it all. Id call it a primitive setting, no bells, no whistles, but just what we needed. If i did need a bell or whistle, liz would have procided it quickly. Cant say enough……

“My family and I were traveling to WV to take my son to the University of Charleston and this was the perfect place for our family. Tons of room, clean and very quiet. Only thing that this place didn’t have was internet access which made it hard for us to have cell service but other then that it was just perfect and we will be returning!!!”
