“Kind of hard to rate because the upside is awesome but the downside is egregious. The parking is OUTRAGEOUS, $40 per night, only 8 total, and you can't book ahead so if all 8 spaces are taken there is NO parking and you have to seek out street parking (good luck if it's durring a big event). There is also NO STAFF on site, so if you need service it's basically not going to happen. There is a shelf in the lobby with some extra supplies but it's basically a first come first served situation, and……

“Love staying at the Pontchartrain Hotel. We have made this our regular spot when we visit NOLA. The area is beautiful with so many places to see and to eat. The Tin Roof bar on the roof is fantastic with a spectacular view, and cafe and restaurant in the hotel are very good. We walk through the garden district every morning and evening and love that the streetcar stops right in front of the hotel. It’s just a short ride (or $10 Lyft/uber) to the French quarter.
