“Unusual decor reminds one of a spa swim club. Interesting to learn that this was one a place where visiting carpenters stayed, hence the name. We had a private balcony looking into the branches of a large pecan tree. We loved every aspect of our room. And nearby Barton Springs Rd. has lots to offer!”

“The customer service is unrivaled! From management to cleaning people, everyone is so friendly and accommodating.Margaritas or refreshing water offered upon check in. Nice, clean, comfortable hotel with coffee and fridge in the room. Great views of the lake. Valet parking is a little pricey but we found it to be so convenient it was worth it. Special shout out to Jared and Carissa who took such good care of us. There's a long haired gentlemen that is a valet who made our trips around town fun……

“Had a wonderful stay, in Austin for a concert at the Moody Center and Hotel Ella was conveniently located. The staff was courteous, helpful, and professional. We will stay again, but hopefully we book when there isn’t a wedding. Several amenities are not available to guests that are not guests of the wedding.”

“Had a meeting here and was very happy with the convenience. Our room unfortunately faced the courtyard and was very loud (music). Otherwise, no complaints. Room was clean, staff was very helpful. We had a good trip! I would stay here again.”
