“This was a fun place to stay while visiting the battle field. The village was very interesting with many small shops. The room appeared to be recently renovated and staying above a pub was a fun experience. The pub itself was also excellent. Our only complaint was lack of air conditioning...which resulted in us opening a window...and listening to traffic (the road out front is very busy) All-in-all, I would strongly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area”

“The hotel is on the main street accessed via a side alley with steps and parking is available across the road. A warm welcome on arrival. We had room 20 which was spacious and had a view onto the bustling Pantiles street area of TW. If you are like us a couple staying overnight for a nice dinner and a few drinks, this is actually a perfect place to stay. On the Sunday morning because we were up early, we decided to have breakfast at the hotel which is à la carte and I must say the coffee was……

“Our stay at the Mount Edgcumbe was genuinely exceptional. My wife wasn’t feeling well during our visit, and the manager and staff showed such warmth and care — nothing was ever too much trouble. “Beautiful room with almost everything you could wish for. My only gripe was the only mirror in the room to do hair and makeup was in the hall/alcove between bathroom and bedroom. Needed a mirror over the dressing table. However I always travel with an extension lead so I survived. Really would recommend.”
