“This cabin is just as described. It felt like we were right at home. The bed was comfy. Kitchen was stocked with all the cooking items you would need--we did cook a few meals here. We also checked out several of the local restaurants and towns. We enjoyed several evenings on the enclosed deck--it was just so nice to sit and listen to nature and be lost in your thoughts. The neighborhood is beautiful. There is a cabin next door that can be rented as well--we talked about having our kids/grandkids……

“The cottage was very cute and comfortable. For a one bedroom cottage it was very roomy. It was just myself staying, but it could accommodate more. The host was easy to get in touch with. It was very good if you’re traveling with a pet because I loved the fenced in private yard. It was cool and shady and a nice place to sit even in warmer weather. It is just minutes from downtown Black Mountain and you could walk there if you wanted to. My dog and I also enjoyed walking at lake Tomahawk Park,……

The drive up rocky driveway with some ruts was like an added theme ride, but do-able. The cabin itself is very roomy and for our short stay was very nice. ”
