“We had a blast in Gruene. Checking out the music scene and retreating to this little cottage. It was the perfect stay. A short drive from Gruene Hall and just barely out of town a lot to see so many deer in the yard. The cottage was clean, well kept and the bed was one of the most comfortable that I’ve ever slept in. I highly recommend this place. Would stay there again if I find myself in that neck of the woods again”

“Very quiet and the room was clean. They provided coffee and we also had a refrigerator in the room. Parking was so easy. Very walkable to Gruene, about 10 minutes. The only issue we had was the electrical plug in the bathroom did not work. I let them know at check out and got an immediate response. We had so much space to play games, do discussion, and we loved the outside even though it was chilly. We also loved that all the rooms were on the same floor. “Wanted somewhere outside of busy San Antonio to relax but close enough to go to the spurs game, a concert and the river walk. Water levels were very low but we were warned before hand. House was exactly as pictured. The kids loved it. Would like to visit again during summer months. Only real complaint was the cleanliness of hot tub. You could tell it had stormed recently and the cover isn’t the right size so there was dirt and leaves in it possibly from strong winds. Also the masters jetted tub……

It would be sooo nice if they added curtains to block out the morning light. Also, could use some updated sheets, the ones on our bed were pilling pretty bad.
