“I was in New York for a training and was able to meet up with my son who's a student in Queens. We spent the weekend exploring Montauk and several parks, and even saw some seals sunning themselves on the rocks! The apartment had everything we needed including two separate bedrooms with very comfortable beds, and a simple, but functional kitchen. The host was very communicative and even offered several options for grocery shopping and enjoying LI. Wonderful experience!”

“This apartment was a great stay. We wanted to be close to some friends that live in Long Island. The space was perfect for my 9 month old, my husband and myself. In our first night, we had an issue with the toilet and Tammy came to our rescue immediately. Communication with her was so easy and although it was a brief inconvenience, having a super attentive host made a huge difference. She fixed the issue herself!!! “Comfortable and convenient place for 2 people. Good location to access a lot of activities on LI. Host suggested several good places to visit/sample, stayed in contact as well including when internet went down for a day. Well-equipped place, including outdoor garden area with gas BBQ and dining area.”

“The home is wonderful in a great location. Only if that location was known to the rental company. It may be a google problem, but someone needs to pin the correct location, otherwise you wind up on the wrong ferry, in the wrong town. ”

I eventually called (waking someone up) and they were so gracious and helpful.The entire house was so very clean and well appointed. There were emergency supplies and thereeere items to ease the morning wake up.Would stay again if in the area”

“We loved our stay at the Dogwood Inn. We had the best of both worlds--a quiet, peaceful setting in the woods with Rte. 25A and all of its conveniences just a short drive away. This was our first trip to Long Island, and we fell in love with the general area, all the old homes in Miller Place, the great Italian food at Savino's Hideaway just down the road, and the tasty treats at McNulty's Ice Cream Parlor. Cedar Beach on the Sound was nearby, and we were only an hour (or less) from the gorgeous……

“My husband, two boys (6 & 11) and I stayed in this quaint, little, clean apartment for four nights. They provided coffee, creamer and bathroom necessities. It was perfect for a short stay. When we did need something the owner was quick to reply and get it to us. If need be we will stay here again.”
