“What a great stay at the Burgundy Dream B&B! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! It is in the perfect location being right by the water but still only 10 mins from the airport and 20 mins from downtown! Sam and Kazue are so fun and we appreciated their company… they made it feel like home! Would recommend to anyone travelling to Halifax. ”

“The hotel check in and check out staff were friendly, fast and courteous. The room was clean, quiet and well appointed. No issues with the property. The restaurant breakfast was another story. The server was rude and abrupt, the buffet was cold and tasteless,and disappointing for $20.95.the server seem frazzled even though there were only three tables occupied. A disappointing ending to an otherwise great experience. ”

“When we checked in, there were 2 hotel staff checking people in. There were a good amount of folks checking in at the time we arrived. One of your check-in staff chose to walk away and help another staff member get something from the coffee station. It just seemed a little funny he would walk away while there were people checking in. Just an observation. ”

“This is a gem of a hotel! The breakfast was awesome. It's conveniently located to drive to Halifax or Peggy's Cove. We traveled with our dog and loved the little green space with picnic tables behind the hotel right on chocolate lake! We would definitely stay here again!”
