“This is our second time at the Penthouse, and it just a lovely property. It is on Main Street, on the second (and third) floors of a building near the entrance to the Mendocino headlands. The deck and front windows overlook Mendocino Bay and the views are gorgeous at any time, in any weather. The kitchen is fully stocked, the beds are comfortable, there is a fun music room / library / Tv room upstairs, there is plenty of space for a larger group though we are only two. The views of the bay from the front window and views of the coastal headlands and ocean from the upstairs bedroom are sublime. The surrounding garden of plants and flowers is glorious and so calming. “Wonderful birthday destination! The accommodations were cozy, loved the fireplace. Ravens Restaurant was amazing! Every single meal!! We had massages and took a cooking class with Sid. We enjoyed the dry sauna, hot tub and pool that were all located in a greenhouse type setting. So relaxing.”
