“We stayed in Executive Super King room. We had a very spacious comfortble bed, sofa, tea/coffee making facilities. Separate shower/toilet with toiletries. I did not notice if there was a safe in the room. Staff were polite and helpful. Breakfast was perfect and lovely presentation. We had to fill a Form for breakfast the night before which is fine as there would be no food wastage. My only concern was they held £50 which did not clear my account until after 4 day. “Easy access, clean and comfortable. Good value for money and convenient location for us. To improve the stay, add a slip mat in the shower and a mirror near a plug socket for hair drying.”

“Great traditional pub in a suburban area ( visit to relative) wonderful publican and staff. Parking was very tight. Stayed in the room frequented by British rock stars Robert Plant and Christie McVie, which was a nice. Despite being next to rail station we heard nothing. Fabulous’full English’ breakfast - try it !! No elevator - quite a number of stairs. ”

“Hotel is an easy 15 mins walk away from the town centre or bus stops outside. Staff pleasant and very helpful. The room was large and clean but in need of an update. Easy parking in the hotel's car park. Breakfast is reasonably price but finishes very early at 8.30. Good cooked breakfast but other choices are limited.”
