“I just spent one night on the way home from an extended trip, and it was perfect. Super clean with extremely comfortable beds (including pillows, and I'm very picky)! Short walk to the center of town, and the family running the lodge is very sweet. Highly recommend!”
“Loved the individual cottages and bar/restaurant on property. Our cottage was super clean but in need of new mattress in master. The views from porch were awesome and we enjoyed a walk down to lake and the trail up and around the property. The drive to downtown and national park is only 10 minutes. Great stay!”

“Overall the place was beyond great from every aspect to me. Everything inside the room was new and looked great only issue was no shower curtain but wasn’t a deal breaker. Me and my nephew stayed there over the weekend to do atv trails in the town of Gilbert WV. Was a blast will definitely go back. Anyone looking to book don’t let outside appearance fool you it definitely is nice and comfortable along with it being affordable too. ”

I do plan on visiting this area of the Adirondacks again and the Balsams will be base camp when exploring this beautiful area. ”
