“The Strutt arms was a great experience. The owners were very friendly and helpful. There is an Indian restaurant on site ,and also have other foods . The standard double room was small ,but was very comfortable, it had a 37 inch television on the wall ,a portable fan,a comfy king-size bed and tea and coffee ,hot chocolate and biscuits if you feel peckish, and a complimentary jug of ice cold water as well. Internet access very good in the accommodation. Bus stop right outside if you want to……

“The room is immaculate, there are nice touches like ground coffee and a french press, first time I have had this even in £500+ a night rooms. There is plenty of free parking on the street outside. The only thing to be mindful of is that there is a big step both into the room and the bathroom for those with reduced mobility like myself - this is in addition to the 6 steps i was aware of. There is no aircon or fan so we opened the bedroom and bathroom windows and it was fine. Old school air……

“My husband and I came here for an overnight stay to celebrate my birthday. We were greeted by Fiona the receptionist who was so welcoming and very friendly. She was so helpful and nothing was too much trouble in asking for anything. We loved our room which was spacious, clean and very cozy! We both had a good nights sleep too. We are both vegan and had a lovely vegan breakfast that was hot, fresh and delicious! Service was friendly and quick too. Thank you so much to the lovely lady who served……
