“Great service, very kind and friendly check in. The rooms are simple and you have to pay for the towels, but then again- the price of accommodation definitely justifies the payment for extras. Has a bar, open until 11pm. And it is genuinely all you need for a night stay. Also offers breakfast, full english for £9.99. And it is perfectly located for the Monsal Trail and ither walks.”

“The perfect location for a stay in the Peak District, with arguably the best view from a pub garden anywhere in the UK? Perfect for a family of four, with all rooms well furnished and a generous kitchen and lounge set up. Great for self-catering, but the food in the pub downstairs was good stuff. “We wanted somewhere to stay the night ready to go to the airport early hours in the morning and this hotel was ideal. We was only there for about 12 hours, just somewhere to eat and rest our heads until we had to set off to the airport around 4am. I wish we had longer here. Everything about the hotel was perfect I definitely will be booking again and stay for a few days. ”
