“What can i say, everything was perfect. Upon entering the building using the very clear instructions and getting our key, to entering the room. Room 2 Coniston. It was absolutely spotless, very spacious with a nice homely feel to it. Kitchen area was really good, all the appliances and accessories we needed. Very comfy & large bed. Dog friendly room with a dog bed, bowl, treats and towel. Booked again for November Perfect location, you really are at the centre of the town. ”

“We stayed in a Shepherd's hut and it was great! Lovely location for going walking (only about 10min drive from a car park to go up old man coniston) Was super cosy and warm inside the hut, everything you need to prepare food, a tv to watch Netflix etc and bed was decent. It did get quite damp in there at night leaving the corners of the bed a bit wet in the morning but nothing too extreme. (Might be worse after more than 2 nights though.) “We checked in to this beautiful old inn, and were greeted by owner Johnathan, we were shown to our room and told if we needed anything just ask. Being the winter the kitchen is closed Monday and Tuesday which Johnathan apologised for, we replied it’s absoulutly fine. He told us of the local Chinese just up the road and said please feel free to bring it back to our room to eat, which we did. Excellent Chinese takeaway. We slept like logs and woke to have full breakfast that Jonathan cooked which……
