“A Beautiful Stay in the Heart of Cartmel We had such a wonderful stay at the Cartmel Old Grammar Hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff couldn’t have been more friendly, welcoming, and genuinely lovely — they made us feel completely at home. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated and immaculately finished, with thoughtful touches throughout. With some really lovely communal spaces to get to know other guests and not feel tucked away in your room all day. It strikes the perfect balance……

“We were greeted on arrival at the B&B which was lovely and our room was comfortable and clean. Parking is available and their breakfast options numerous and filling.”

“My sister and I spent just a couple of nights here and truly fell in love with the house and staff. Every interaction was easy and kind, the house was incredibly well kept, and the grounds were gorgeous. It's located a bit out of the way which is perfect for minimizing crowds and noise! Our room was perfectly sized and the bed/bedding comfortable. All in all, a 10/10. Highly recommend to anyone in any stage of life.”

“Nice decoration, nice garden. Clean. Very small single room, very small single bed and very small downstairs bathroom.Breakfast delivery at 8 am, 8:30 am, and 9 am. Delivery knocks on the doors of your neighbours has the same effects as knocking on your doors. If you want to sleep, book elsewhere. ”
