“What a find,this hotel is .it's nicely situated good car park ,clean bright and extremely comfortable .Terry and Lynne are wonderful hosts ,nothing is too much trouble for them ,and they are always friendly and helpful .we have stayed here three times before and would not consider staying anywhere else .”
“water leaking all over the place had to slam the door two or three times to close would not let a dog stay in there. cheaked out within the hour found another hotel.fire exit was jamed shut sould not be open.”
“Lovely spot to stop on our way to the ferry. Rooms were huge and really comfy and breakfast was amazing. Could do with a little attention to inroom facilities as coffee/sugar etc wasn’t topped up before arrival and TV remote didn’t work properly but didn’t spoil our stay. Would definitely stay again and recommend ”
“Lovely historic building in a beautiful setting, unfortunately the lack of investment by the owner is evident with grounds that need attention, chipped paintwork, mismatched furnishings, dreadful piped music from the 1930's, a breakfast that was meagre and non functioning WiFi. So much potential!”

The bedrooms and general hotel areas are spotlessly clean and inviting.
Full breakfast was lovely and cooked to order. Hotel menu offers a good selection for day and evening dining.
Would definitely recommend. We will be back !”
“Had a lovely stay while away with work. The food was amazing and it is a beautiful building, with so much character.
All the staff were very friendly and professional, especially Glen who runs the hotel excellently!
