“A five star hotel/B&B. Good location and amazingly quiet at night. Garden rooms were massive with separate lounge areas. Very well equipped and very clean and modern. The addition of a private patio with furniture is a special bonus. The staff were lovely. The restaurant was amazing with good choice and lovely presented food .. the full cooked breakfast can only be described as spectacular. Well recommended and hope to come back.”

“Lovely property and couple. What a welcomed feeling for two jet lagged travelers. Thank you for making us feel welcomed. Room was clean and cozy. Bathroom was stocked with all the creature comforts. Tub was a sight for welcomed sight for sore eyes and the shower was top notch, with great water pressure, as per my husband. On-site parking was easy and convenient as listed. “Excellent service as soon as I arrived at The Barrel Inn. All the staff I came into contact with were friendly and extremely helpful. From check in, breakfast, bar staff and waiting on. “We stayed here for 1 night whilst touring the peak district on our motorbikes. Plenty of parking and security cameras to ensure a good night's sleep. Our room was very comfortable and decorated to a high standard. The shower was big with great water pressure. We had an evening meal which we would rate as excellent, plenty of very friendly staff and a short wait for our food. Breakfast the next morning was plentiful and varied.
