“Love the old homes with the super high ceilings! They have a lot of class and charm. Everything was in walking distance. Would highly recommend the Balloons restaurant, for their top notch service and food. If you want see the historical sites in town, check the sites online info. “Stayed with my family for the weekend for the State fair. The house was perfect. The location was a little sketchy but no issues. The only issue is with the upstairs tenants. You could hear the creeky floors late at night and in the early morning hours. Kept you up if your a light sleeper. ”

“Clean, charming, well maintained and quiet. A comfortable bed and pillows made for two restful night's sleep. Gina's delicious banana muffins with some freshly-brewed Columbian coffee made for a great start to the day. Before arriving, we had visited Weis vineyards in Hammondsport (NY Winery of the Year three of the last four years) on Lake Keuka. Also outstanding! We passed many lodging options on the 45 minute drive between the winery and A Stones Throw and were so glad we did. Got to……

“You couldn't ask for a better location if you like having tons of food and adult beverages right out your front door since you are right downtown. Beautiful modern yet vintage feel, comfortable king bed and nice hot shower. We did not prepare any food during our 4 day stay but there was plenty of appliances and dishes if we wanted to do that. Only a mini fridge but again with all the eating options downtown really no reason to stay in. Cannot do laundry but we did find a laundry mat if needed……
