“A lovely stay at Paddlers Lane Retreat. Room was cozy and had everything I needed. Close enough to food options but off the path so it was very quiet and serene. Dan was a pleasure to chat with and very helpful with recommendations. If I pass through again, I'll definitely stay here. ”

This is an older hotel that could use an update; however, for the price we paid I didn’t expect the Ritz or the Four Seasons, which is what negative reviewers always seem to want. The gentleman who checked us in was extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was nice with crisp, clean sheets, a comfortable mattress and nice bedding. We spent two nights here and had no issues. “We spent a long 4th of July weekend with family that live in Morgantown. The house was very clean throughout. Beds and pillows very comfortable. Towels including wash clothes and kitchen towels enough provided. Bedrooms big and basement fits a family with kids. Kitchen stocked with everything needed for cooking meals. I would rent again. Very nice owner and nice to talk with regarding our stay. ”
