“It was great to have a little home base while we explore and hike the surrounding area. We also had it pretty nice and cool. Be warn, it doesn’t stay super cool all day as it was hot. It was around the 90s and the ac barely kept the place at 78 during the day. But you’re supposed to be out anyways. Pleasant stay.”

“The property has some safety issues that need to be addressed. Master bed was comfortable. Didn’t sit outside as there were too many bugs. The host was communicative prior to arrival. ”

“The host was very helpful and accommodating. They provide more than we expected and have tried to think of everything. There were extra blankets, plates, cups and utensils for children; a pack-n-play. The kitchen was well stocked. The space was well maintained. Finally, the host communicated consistently with us to make sure everything was a promised. I highly recommend this host and property”

“We should have listened to the other reviews on this place, but unfortunately there wasn't much in the area to choose from. From the moment we walked in it smelled terrible, almost like a skunk smell. Obviously it's right on the Fox River so there's going to be bugs but a lot of the windows especially upstairs are not sealed right and in one of the bedrooms there were a ton of mosquitoes and other bugs all over the ceiling. Thankfully we found some ant spray in a random cabinet and were able to……
