“Despite all the information you have about the location accommodation, I found it very difficult to locate. However when I finally arrived, the host was very welcoming and the accommodation was very warm. The only thing I noticed was that there were invoices from probaly a previous occupant in one of the bedroom drawers and some earpods left in the lounge. Maybe their cleaner needs to be more vigilant.”

“We had a great experience at the Plough! We were there for a function and the staff could not have been friendlier! Room was clean and very comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent and a great value at £10. Eady walking distance to centre of town. I would definitely stay again!”

“The guys running the place were very polite and friendly. However, on arrival at about 18.45, one young man was solely in charge. Customers were serving themselves drinks while he was trying to sort out the mechanism on our room door. They had dining guests waiting for tables although restaurant was virtually empty. They were also operating a ‘just eat’ service, which took two others away on deliveries. No breakfast menu was provided and we were given a ‘cooked’ meat free breakfast that was……

“5 minutes walk to train station and 10 minutes walk to town centre, staff were average, not active enough, could be better. Room was big , but accessories could be improved”

“The Hotel does need renovation to compete with newly build hotel chain. The room size is descend, but the furniture is old and has many scratch. If can do some renovation, I am sure can bring back many more customers.”
