“Perfect location with a very attentive staff. The rooms were large and well appointed. A minor issue is that they are undergoing a renovation which created a less attractive decor in areas but it was no impediment to enjoying my stay”

“The hotel locates in the middle of a construction site, not walking distance to any of the subway station. I booked the hotel to attend a conference at Harvard and I need to walk either 35 mins to Cambridge town or take a Uber which costs more than 20 back and forth. Not really ideal.”

“I don't recommend you to stay here. The low rating is not for their staff and service, nor for the cleanliness, but for the old facilities of the house. The soundproofing of the room is very poor, and the wooden planks creaked when you walked, and the floorboards were very loud. I was the only one staying that day, but I received a late night noise complaint, accusing me of moving furniture late at night? How is this possible? And the floorboards made a loud noise when I just turned over in the……

“Our stay last President’s Day weekend at Ginkgo House exceeded beyond our expectations. It is very clean, organized and quiet place to relax and enjoy. A big plus is that it is walkable to all the areas we need to go to and restaurants are nearby. Nancy was one of the best staff and she made us feel so comfortable. We felt like we are so much closer to home because of her hospitality, we will definitely return.”

“Unique music themed boutique hotel. 15 minutes from Logan. 17 min walk to MASSArt and other schools nearby. Outdoor heated pool that many people took advantage of even in freezing temps. Several restaurants nearby - including a Thai place that was awesome and abt a 15-20 min walk - Thaitastic. Fenway is an easy 10-12 min walk as well. Parking is available but a little pricey (we did not have a car). Staff very friendly and welcoming. Property is clean, rooms are very comfortable and you……
