HIGHLY recommend the Koala experience, the Ultimate Penfold's Experience, and the RM Williams Experience (was unexpectedly AWESOME!!). Food was outstanding and the staff was super friendly. “Beautiful location between beside rivers with view of Mt Ruapehu (cloud permitting). Hosts were very welcoming and gave friendly advice about local walks. We did the Mangawhero Forest Walk which took around an hour along well maintained trails through stunning forest, recommended. For dinner we did a nice walk through forest to town centre takes about 15 mins. We came back via roads after dark. Room was quiet and comfortable with outdoor terrace and hot tub.
