“The place is beautifully presented and the staff are extremely welcoming and helpful we had a lovely stay and will definitely consider staying here again in the future.”

“The bed sheets has many insects. It seems that there has no change the bed sheets. There has no pillow provided. 1st night - we double checked and made sure the door locked before we go bed to sleep. In the morning, we saw the door was opened. The door had scratch marks， I guess somebody use the tools to open the door. Be careful your bags and money if you stay in there. We really cannot sleep in the 2nd night. The washroom is clean. The location is not different to find. I won’t……

“From arrival to departure we were very impressed with our treatment and the accommodation pod we had booked. There are only cafe facilities at the weekend therefore the need to travel for food and drink was unavoidable but it is only a short drive into Gisborne. The beaches close by are a surfers paradise so would certainly suit the adventurous person, though not myself. An all round excellent stay. ”

“Trevor and Deanne were wonderful hosts. The assisted us with transportation for our wine tasting trip and made some wonderful recommendations for dining. The tent was large, clean, well appointed and very comfortable. My husband and I loved sitting on the veranda every morning enjoying our coffee while surrounded by the vineyard.”

“Property in person is even better than advertised. Check in/out was easy, communication with the owner was seamless, and our stay was quiet and relaxing. The retreat is extremely well equipped with all the amenities one could want. The living room and sleeping space was comfortable and well appointed. We couldn’t have asked for more!”

“Unique experience -sleeping under the sky with the comfort of a hotel bed in a beautiful decorated room. We stayed for 2 nights so we spent a whole day at our little camp, enjoying the beautiful landscape, the silence, the nature, the sun and the views. There is much thought been put into the little things like fairy lights, games, decoration... we were very thankful for the power bank. No problem with the toilet and the shower, both worked fine and everything was really clean. The hot water……

“We arrived and promptly welcomed by Arianne with a cup of tea and carrot cake - lovely touch. At the end of our day's walk, the hot tub was very much appreciated. Facilities are great. Best of all, Arianne and Victor are the best hosts. We will recommend to friends and would certainly love to return.”
