“My friend and I had a wonderful wintery break in the pods. Compact, clean, comfortable, and everything you need. Friendly responsive hosts. Just a couple of minutes' walk from the beautiful expanse of Pekapeka beach. The pods are in a small enclave of houses but it was very quiet, only noise at night was the sea and the frogs! We liked the eco-friendly touches and the herb garden, beds were very comfy, shower was hot with decent pressure. Thoroughly recommend and would love to return!”

“We arrived and were personally greeted by Steve. I’ve been too many accommodations in my life and I have never had a host like Steve. He was absolutely superb. We originally planned to stay for two nights and because of the.Bonhomie of the place we stayed a total of six days and five nights. We would have stayed all the way to the end of our trip. This was an unexpected find and you have a really open mind. I highly recommended to book this place. Just remember, it’s not the faint heart. ”

“Staff are very helpful and friendly, at first the home has some problem but she solve it immediately , and upgrade our room, the room is fantastic!”

“Emma was very accommodating, even coming out in the pouring rain and making sure the heater was on in the getaway before I got there so it was warm and cozy by the time I got there. I didn't realize there is no wifi here but it was actually really nice to disconnect from everything for a night.”

“ The bath was absolutely stunning!!—easily one of the highlights of the trip, was also surprised by hot water for tea, the crackers on the table, hummus AND with the Whitakers chocy bar in the fridgeThere was plenty of space to stretch out and relax, both inside and out, with thoughtful design touches throughout. And that canopy bed!! A dream!Was comfortable, private and relaxing—highly recommend :)”

“很典型的新西兰风格的小木屋，私人庭院，房间很大，设施很齐全，房主也非常热情，房子是在山里面，真正的山清水秀，鸟语花香的感觉。不过要开一段山路才能到达，我们是晚上到的，又下雨，不太好找。所以建议早些入住。位置有点偏远，离科罗曼德半个小时车程，附近没有什么饭店超市之类的。”

“Birthday wish : peace & quiet, privacy, native bush setting, pool or spa. Wish granted. AND fresh eggs on arrival in fridge? Come on, it doesn't get any better. Friendly wave from Lauren and the kids as we pass going down to the cabin. Excellent. ”
