“We loved the No Vacancy. Our room was individually decorated, the parlor area was relaxing and loved the bar with it's Wednesday night, very diverse salsa dancers. The bar tenders were so friendly and led us to a jazz bar for some Kansas City Jazz. We just may return.....”
“It looked pretty new and the room was big and clean. There were always snacks in the lobby area which was nice. There was a small box of Christopher Elbow chocolate in the room as a welcoming gift and we enjoyed it. ”
“Hotel was clean & staff friendly. Hotel location was great & just a simple quick drive to many nice restaurants & easy access to the interstate. Loved being on the riverfront to get a beautiful walk in too. Lots of construction happening next to the hotel but still we felt the rooms were quiet despite it all happening outside.

“Great location. Near the free streetcar that will take you to the city market on the the north end of the line to Union Station and Crown Center on the other end (beginning in a couple of months it will reach the Plaza). Great eats at the hotel and in the area, The hotel itself is clean and comfortable. Dine at the Savoy Grill - if you can, sit in the same booth Harry Truman used to use when he ate at the Savoy. ”
“Victor, Sheena, and Que were VERY knowledgeable and addressed a miscommunication that was initiated on the Expedia side of the reservation. They took approximately 20-30 minutes including a phone call from Expedia to locate my reservation. They upgraded us to an Executive Suite at no additional fees for the delay. What a GREAT TEAM! This was my second stay at this location and it will not be the last!”
“Great location, the property is quaint and the grounds are lovely. KC is hot and humid in August so we appreciated the a/c and ceiling fan in our room! We didn’t encounter staff and all communication and transactions were virtual, which I really liked. I recommend this property to anyone looking for an experience different from a typical hotel stay.”
