“The pods themselves are great. Very spacious and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Did encounter an issue with the heating upon arrival. POD was so hot inside the surfaces were too hot to touch. Never had this happen before. Calls to office and emergency line were not answered. Had to drive around looking for someone and a nice staff, Kirsten, at the event facility helped me. Finally had to disconnect heating completely from pod. Unfortunately had to stay in the pod all night with the doors……

“Driving up the driveway to MacDonald Houston House is most impressive and had a lovely welcome at reception. Room allocation was a fun mission to find ☺️ Room size is so grand and the 16th century bar setting is so quaint. Stayed for 2 nights which included the spa facilities which from the outside looks late 80s aged but I enjoyed having the spa facilities included. ”
