“Two-night stay in April, Peebles is a small town and the Tontine is centrally located with ~10 parking spaces behind it. The staff was very friendly and helpful with restaurant recommendations and assistance with have some laundry done overnight. The included breakfast was excellent and filling. “Little things would make a difference . I chose pay later , the full amount was taken with in days not months as exprected. 1 hand towel ! 2 people 3 days !! When requested it was supplied , shouldn’t have had to ask. 3 coffee sachets per day , 2 people ? Beautiful property Scottish castle style , above average accommodations, breakfast buffet. Great. Dinner menu. Burgers !!! Very disappointing . American tourists catered for . We therefore didn’t stay for dinner. 3 nights elsewhere . ……
