“This is a historic building that has been updated with a few things. The decoration is period furniture that I loved. We had a room on the 3rd floor and the stairs are quite steep. Short walking distance to the Nauvoo temple.”

“We had a wonderful anniversary trip to Nauvoo. The historic and quaint Mix House added some period charm to our stay. While the house retains much of its 19th century charm, it has the modern conveniences needed for a relaxing stay. It may have been the off season, but food and meal choices were limited in Nauvoo itself. We were grateful for the items we ordered from The Apron Bake Shoppe.”

And it has a great location The host was great to communicate with and the little restaurant downstairs has some amazing treats. We will definitely stay here again the next time we come to Nauvoo. ”
