“Lovely location, next to a small farm. Great views from the balcony, stars at night were spectacular. Nice waking up to the rooster and cows. Our large dog loved the securely enclosed paddock with a lake in the middle. Extremely cosy and warm cottage.”

“We booked The Avalon for a multi generational family holiday with 12 adults, two children, two babies and 3 dogs! The layout and facilities were perfect for us. It is rare to find a large property with a bathroom for every room. The Avalon had everything we needed and is very well equipped. The thoughtful additions such as travel cots, high chairs, dog bowls and dog beds made everything a little easier. The property was clean and well maintained and the communication with Darren and Vikki……

“House location was very good just few yards from the sea, but the facilities were very poor. This was the first time ever holiday where their were no bedsheets, no pillow covers, no blanket covers in any rooms, no towels and the worst part was we had been notified at the last minute to bring our own sheets and towels which is just a day before arrival. Some of the pots and pans were dirty not even washed so we were bit disappointed.”

“We had a wonderful 60th party with friends and family. The house was perfect for 3 nights and accommodated 26 of us really well. The kitchen was very well equipped and we managed to cook several meals without a problem. Located just outside Padstow we had plenty to keep us amused. Would definately recommend for a large group.”

“It was an absolutely lovely experience and grate place to stay. The most disappointing thing, esotericism on a holiday advertised for kids, is that you can only get 1 hour slots at the pool per day. Yes the pool is emptier when you're there but 1 hour is just not enough! Plus you have to drive to get anywhere else that's kids friendly. So if that changed my rating would improve.”

“Great place for a family get together. Plenty of room to spread out. Hot tub and games room were well used. The house is bright, modern and comfortable. Some of the double bedrooms were smaller than expected but fine overall. Beds were very comfortable. It was useful to have extra living space in the annexe. The lounge there became a temporary home office. One downside-the dishwasher was not adequate for the number of people staying at full occupancy. We spent too much time at the kitchen sink.……
