Greeted my daughters and explained everything clearly, they said Mel was simply lovely! A great clean room with a short walk to Anfield Stadium.”

“What a little gem of a guest house this is, just yards from the shore of Lake Windermere opposite the marina and just a 20 minute walk from Bowness ( or a couple of minutes max by car ! ) Owners Susanne and Glenn are lovely warm friendly hosts and are very welcoming and more than happy to give you any help needed with info on the local area. The guest house is bright and beautifully clean with a slightly 'chintzy' decor, but at least it has character rather than the sterile corporate identikit……
