“We had a good stay at the property, staff was very friendly and helpful, bed was huge and very comfortable, comfy pillows too, nice specious room which was tad dated but was clean enough not to spoil our stay. Good pub attached to the hotel, great that it had little play area to keep little ones happy and on the day we arrived there was a bouncy castle which was huge bonus. I would have been happier if breakfast was a bit better. There wasn't a huge choice for the continental breakfast and had……

“Tumbleweed Cottage is a beautiful hidden jem that myself and Kay will be visiting frequently for many years to come , Shaan and Sef made us feel so welcome and so comfortable with our stay we wished we could've booked for longer, The Rooms are beautiful with fabulous views of the garden . Breakfast was amazing and Sef's fresh summer fruit yoghurts are just scrumptious, We will be back again with our children (dogs) and walk through the village, May the Force be with You ”

“this hotel is a little surprise. Doesn’t look much from the outside and not helped by being next to a disused building. However, once you enter it is a very different experience. The hotel is lovely, well maintained and the staff are amazingly friendly and helpful. We had a family room which was very good, though could do with some better quality bed linen. “Was good value for money. Conveniently situated for visiting Renishaw Hall wine tasting and gardens . Comfy bed, and not a bad size bathroom. Rain shower but no hairdryer. The food in the restaurant was really good, not that quick to appear but it was worth the wait. We didn’t like being so close to the road though.We couldn’t get the window to close properly so that it made it noisier once the traffic started in the morning.”
