“The location of this hotel is excellent and we had a lovely quite room at the front of the hotel which is in a lovely tree lined residential street but only a few minutes walk to 5th Avenue. We stayed at 5 hotels (Including two other Opal Collection Hotels) in our 3 week stay in South Florida and this hotel was definitely the best.”

“The Escalante is excellente! A real haven right on 5th Avenue and an easy walk to the beach although you don’t need to walk as they provide a cart to take you. The pool area is great too and as there aren’t many rooms, it was easy to get comfortable sun loungers. I have stayed at major chain hotels all over the world and our stay at the Escalente was right up there with the best. The staff were so friendly and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. Parking was easy and the free continental……
