“It was accommodation only. We had key code to let you in. Didnt see the owner at all. Bedroom was small but adequate. Ensuite was small. Bed was not that comfortable but it was very clean.”

“Nice friendly helpful staff . Only issue we had is the windows , very easy to climb onto for kids and the windows opened just by using the handle so no button to press in first . ((Obviously that’s not an issue everyone will have but if you have children with disabilities you may find this worrying)). Other than that it was clean , everything was as should be and we had everything we need. Very ideal place as it’s right outside the pier ”

“After reading terrible reviews on other websites (i booked before i found the reviews) i was worried for our 2 night stay here. However, we were pleasantly suprised. There was no musty bad smell upon entering. It was clean and tidy. The guy at the desk was pleasant and helpful. We had the family room with sea view and it looks like it had been recently renovated and modernised. It was basic but thats all we needed. Shower, wifi and tv worked well. Bed was comfortable. “Staff very friendly. Most of our food was good. What needs pointing out is the restaurant times for dinner, as we booked for 7pm, and when I rang to say we could be later, due to work commitments, I was told they stopped taking food orders at 7.45. Some updating needed at this hotel, in the rooms, But we would definitely stay again. 😊”

“Really enjoyed my overnight stay in Sandbay. Close to Western Supermare, can hop on a bus and spend time there however there is plenty of entertainment on site also a swimming pool, dart boards and 2x snooker tables. The only downside it's a card only venue but take some cash for vending machine and bingo in the evening cash only. ”
