“This property is neat and tidy. My family had a great time. A lot of wildlife to see. The solar lights and screened in eating area really made the nights so much better with the fire ban. We could still enjoy the outside and played games. The lake is so clean - we had little fish nibbling our ankles! Too weedy for us for swimming, but we all dipped in! Lounging and looking at the water was really peaceful. No complaints! Super private. Great hosts.”

“Barbara’s Place was an absolute gem! Conveniently located just 15 minutes from the Ferry and a quick 20-minute drive to almost anywhere on the island, it’s the perfect central spot for exploring. A major highlight is its proximity to the Cup and Saucer Trail, which is a must-do and offers incredible views. The property itself sits on the peak of a bay, and the sunset views are simply breathtaking—definitely a highlight of our stay. We were impressed by how well-equipped the place was, with some……

“Great area to take the kids. There was a lot of Waters sports that the kids used such as kayaks. Water, trampolines, etc.. There is a volleyball net, but you would need to bring your own Volleyball. Sand on the beach is super nice right for kids building Sandcastles”

“We all enjoyed staying here. Everyone loved the cleaniness, the space, and the well stocked supplies available. The hot tub and the Propane BBQ Grill functioned very well. Some of us felt their mattresses were a little soft. Mine was just right, I think it was a memory foam mattress. All in all, love this place and would come back for sure.”

“We had the most lovely time here. The place is just as described and everything functioned well. Check in was easy with the lockbox, and the host was very flexible and responsive. Also, the fridge, sink and microwave were especially helpful. The whole thing had a very peaceful atmosphere. We are so excited to return someday!”
