“Absolutely love it here. My “reset” destination ”

“Everything about the Swanendele Inn was exceptional: the location, the accommodations, the facilities, the decor, the hosts, and, not least, the breakfast. In fact, you could spend several days just exploring the remarkable antiques and artifacts around the place. However, what made the strongest impression was the fiery glow of dawn though the pine trees outside our balcony every morning in the Margeret Brent suite. Rhododaktylos, "The rosy-fingered dawn": I never understood the true meaning……

“It was a nice get away for our wedding anniversary. We were able to bring our dogs and use the private strip of beach a couple of cottages away. This was a great quiet trip. The only thing that could have been better is the AC in the cottage. A window unit is provided but with 90 temps it couldn’t keep up.”

“We enjoyed our stay so close to the Tides Inn for the Taste of the Bay. Irvington is a quaint walkable town, perfect for getting away from the hustle and bustle of fast paced locations.”

“Received the doorcode a couple days in advance with description on how to use.owner checked in with us to make sure everything was good.Upstairs is a renovated 1890s schoolhouse!Well appointed house with comfy beds and ample communal spaces. Loved the combined kitched/dining room in the upstairs , with the outside seating balcony. Decor was fun and beachy. Nice screened porches both upstairs and down.Living room was very big and homey. Included wood stove ( we didn't use it, but wood was……

“Amazing time. Very secluded. Such a beautiful and CLEAN place. This was the cleanest rental we have ever stayed in. They have a little Dyson vacuum to keep it clean. It was great because so many rentals do not even give you a broom to use. Beds are comfortable. The view from the bedroom at night and in the morning was beautiful. We woke up early to catch the sunrise.The pool is so relaxing with the view of the river. We crabbed right off of the dock. Caught so many crabs with hot dogs and Spam.……
