“Loction: nothing really around the hotel, so you really need a car if you stay in this hotel. Hotel facilities: The hotel has really nice pools, my kids love the kids pools very much but the water was way too cold ( We were there at end of June). Service: We need to pay 1 euro for each beach towel we borrow from the hotel, also need to pay 10 euros for the security safe in our room. For how nice the Portuguese are, the hotel receptions are really not that nice and friendly. There was only one……

“Had a great stay. Room was clean, pool are clean, poolside cafes were clean. 24-hr reception. Cleaning service daily. Couldn't fault it for the price we paid. A cheap stay with no problems. We also had the added bonus of an east facing room, which meant we got to watch the beautiful sunrise each day. The only down side is that it is a little far from the 'action', although the taxi's in Albufeira were very reasonable, meaning we got to the old town for only 5 euro's, whenever we wanted.”

“The hotel was in a perfect spot for us, two middle age gents over for the weekend playing some golf. Close enough to the old town craziness for a drink and some food but not on your doorstep. It is also in the perfect spot to pick up the main road and get to the courses. We never waited more than 2min for an Uber. The hotel itself was clean and the breakfast buffet served its purpose. We had the suite room, and for two, it was ridiculously spacious. Only slight gripe with the room was the……

“Had a really good time there with my family. I actually booked another hotel in Sagres, but with much smaller space and poorer infrastructure. So I cancelled that one, and drove back again to Balaia hotel. Again the room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. There was also an indoor swimming pool nearby. Hotel staff was nice and helpful. Not to mention that the price is so attractive. Definitely worth it.”
