“Our little cottage getaway was just what we needed. Our hosts were exceptional - responsive, kind and generous. The cottage was very comfortable - we had everything we needed for a four-day stay on Eluethera. It was quiet and safe (after a week in Nassau). We were able to walk to Turtle Beach and many other beautiful beaches were just short drives away.Loved it - wish we could have stayed longer.”

Ida and her so Terren are amazing and make the entire process extremely easy. We flew from Fort Lauderdale vía Makers Air which have a ton of flights into Staniel Cay. Once you arrive at Staniel Cay , Terren will be waiting for you practically on the tarmac and it’s a really short 10 min boat ride to black point . The house is extremely clean and accommodating. “Everything about our stay with Ida in the Starfish cottage was magical and perfect. Simple, adorable accommodations in a gorgeous location overlooking the bay and marina on Black Point Cay. It’s definitely out of the way (unless you have your own boat or plane), but getting there is part of the adventure. “This was our first trip to Exuma, and after staying at Point of View, we’re already planning our return. My husband and I have stayed in countless rental properties around the world, and this one easily ranks in our top three. It’s the kind of hidden gem you almost don’t want others to find, so it stays as peaceful and private as it is now.
