Good location with frequent buses to centre of Oxford (though easy for most to walk) and direct buses to train station. Clean rooms, kettle with tea and coffee. Good shower. No regrets. “Laura and Graham were absolutely wonderful and most helpful. The cooked breakfast was one of the best we’ve ever had; everything was so fresh and of top quality. The property itself is absolutely stunning; we were easily able to walk in to the main city centre along the scenic river route. The welcome guide in the room gave some fantastic recommendations of what to do in the area and we only wish we’d stayed for more than one night, so we could check them all out. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay……

“This country house hotel has been beautifully restored and the feature room that my wife and I stayed in was lovely, with an extremely comfortable and large bed. Perhaps the standout feature of this hotel is not the great building and decor but the brilliant Lavender restaurant. A small menu contained some amazingly tasty dishes and we enjoyed a fabulous dinner with views over the lawns. All in all a lovely night away. Thank you”
