“Exceptional! Our host Elaine was an amazing host and checked in on us regularly throughout our stay. She went out of her way to make our check in process easier, even in the dark. Very thoughtful. The property was spotless, including the grill, which is rare. Great attention to detail. Location was perfect and Elaine suggested some beaches in the area. We loved the pool and enjoyed lots of time swimming and sunning in the spacious area. The deck off the back of the cottage was also a great……

“Building is gorgeous inside and out. Everything you need is there, we even left a couple bamboo mats for the next visitors. Sat out on the porch in the evening drinking wine and listening to the frogs.Note that as the proprietor states, it is up in the rain forest, so it will rain and can be cool. That being said, it's a 20 minute drive down to sunny Kailua (where it can be a bit uncomfortably hot!).Owner very responsive. Nice stay”

“We enjoyed our week at the cottage. It was so nice to have our own private space. It was quiet and comfy with all the amenities you could possibly need. The view of the water from the patio was awesome and it was an easy little trail to get to the beach for a walk on the sand. We got to see a turtle resting our first day! The cottage was clean and well stocked with linens, towels, beach necessities and all our kitchen needs. We had easy access to all of Kihei and Wailea, a lot of things……
